Jesus is the way

JOHN 14:6 says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

We believe that knowing Jesus and accepting Him as your Savior is the only way to Heaven.  We believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose from the grave 3 days later to not only make a way for salvation but to also be a living Savior for us who loves us and fights for us. When we accept Jesus in our hearts and leave behind our pasts, we are able to truly experience and know freedom in Christ.

the bible

John 17:17 says, "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth."

We believe that the Bible is the absolute, infallible truth. We believe that the entire Bible is relevant for our lives today.  Psalms 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."  When we live by the Word of God, it becomes a light and path to help us know the direction God wants us to take.  We believe that as we apply the entire Bible to our lives today, we can experience all God has for us and truly live lives of blessing and abundance.

holy spirit

Acts 1:4 says, "...for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit."  In Acts 2, we see that Jesus fulfilled this promise and there was a powerful move of the Holy Spirit in that room (also known as The Day of Pentecost).  We believe that we still have this same power today.  When you accept Jesus in your heart, you've also accepted the Holy Spirit (part of The Trinity); therefore that power lives in you.  The evidence of this power can be speaking in tongues, healing the sick, seeing the dead raised, operating prophetically, having visions and dreams, and being overwhelmed in the Holy Spirit.  Joel 2:28 says, "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions."  We believe that everything the Holy Spirit has to offer was relevant for Bible times and is still relevant for the church today.  When we learn to operate in the gifts of the Spirit, it becomes yet another way we can experience complete freedom and confidence in Christ.
